I haven't had a chance to check in for a bit, so here's a quick update: Within two weeks of creating the account, the e-mail address for signing you all up got it's first spam, and I've told no one what it is yet! :[ Most likely it got hit using a dictionary spammer program. I'm going to delete it and create a new one that is a little harder to guess. Thinking yello909@ or something like that. Server testing is on hold until I get more HD space. The HDs I had ready to go had to be used in a different server. :[ ISP will be upgrading the pipe to the server soon. Date not yet announced. It's suppose to be a 2Meg down / 6Meg up (ISP is restructuring their existing system and upgrading equipment). Currently the pipe is equivalent to a full T-1 (1.5 Meg down / 1.5 Meg up). As long as my static IP doesn't change with the upgrade (it shouldn't), you can do some tests to one of edge routers to see what kind of latency and packet loss you get. The IP is 209.105.153.81. Try doing a traceroute to it and see what happens. :) 'nuf for now. Have a great weekend! (I gotta work Sat. Ugg!!)
