RE: [Yello] Yello live on stage?
So the concert Live at the Roxy must have been a once-off deal. I've got that album and remember hearing the cheering crowds and wondering when I'd get my chance to see them. I wonder if the whole concert is captured on the two sides of my EP. It's only about 36 minutes total for both sides. A concert tour would definitely have to be a big-market city like New York, London. If Boris and Dieter were ever to plan a concert again it wouldn't be worth the preparation to take the show to a smaller city. 'cept maybe Zurich for old times sake. -----Original Message----- From: The Warlock [mailto:warlock@seste.net] Sent: Wednesday, May 14, 2003 11:43 AM To: The moon: beautiful. Yes, Rene, seems like that could be the reason, at least I agree with you....ofcourse Yello/Boris could, like other techno bands, have recorded the music before performing live and then just "pretended" as he was playing it. But then again that would be wrong too.... Yello Live, The Live at the Roxy album I have in a small safe.. :-), has only a recording on one side, the other side has grooves but is empty. If I'm correct... yello did some performances in clubs and such in the early days. A bit like when Boris, Carlos and Dieter met each other where Diter would give a live vocal performance and the B&C combo handeled the music. On Glodrush Maxi, there's is a recording She's got a gun Live at the Paladium (if i'm correct). And then there was Mayday.. which I missed, but was attended by a co-worker of mine, who I've hated ever since.. :-) Rene ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rory Filer" <rfiler@SierraWireless.com> To: "'The moon: beautiful.
