Are there any music(related) people on this list.??
Well, I have collected every sample set Boris has made available: -How How -Yello Soundstation -Voodoo I made an unfinished remake of How How Premix. First I sectioned the original Premix to the loop-sized parts. Then I figured out what loops are played in each section. Then I used the loops from the How How set and re-assembled the Premix from scratch. Long vocals were missing and I had (loops had?) some timing problems. I should listen to the Soundstation sounds again because I have not yet figured out to what song those sounds belong to. Maybe not to any song we know of. I see that Yello Soundstation is not anymore available; if anyone of you wants the full set of sounds please mail me. I finally figured out that the Voodoo loops should be grouped to about three groups if one tries to avoid the sync problems. But the sequencer in Linux has severe playing problems and thus I cannot make a remix. I also had no money to buy the Voodoo CD, and so, I have no idea (and imagination) of what the original mixes sounds like (e.g., what loops are used in what song). Just a couple of days ago I started analyzing the first song of Zebra. My plan is to re-create this song by using my own sounds only. Please keep us informed about the Keys magazine's Absynth stuff. What they are etc. I don't have Absynth and never will, so I hope someone of you could record the output of Absynth to a wav file or so. Regards, Juhana
