The second CD has the same tracks as the Planet Dada CD maxi. The only difference in this new release is the fact they are packaged together and you get a copy of the Video which I am assuming is in QuickTime or mpeg format and playable on your computer. Below is a scan of the Planet Dada CD Maxi you can see that the music was originally composed by Boris and vocals done by Dieter then remixed by the different artists. Hope this helps, Jonathan http://homepage.mac.com/jonathankamm/Planet-Dada-Maxi-CD2.jpg
Hmmmm.. so, since I have the cd and the cd single already, I'd be paying $20 or so for an mpeg video of Planet Dada? I hope Yello don't actually have much to do with this release - they could at least tempt us with a bonus dvd with a few clips or something like most other band's re-issues so the fan base will drive sales. One more thought - lately there's been a lot of people on this list mentioning that there have been no USA Yello releases for quite a while. Well, Radikal records is in New Jersey. I just went to Tower records.com and it is there for pre-order, on sale for $15.99 <down from list at $18.98>. Free shipping for orders over $20, though. You'd have to order something else to get the free shipping. I have a Tower gift card from X-mas, so this may be where I get it. I know, I squealed about the only new thing being an mpeg video, but I have to have it! Has anyone seen the video? How is it? ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Sayers" <jsayers11@comcast.net> To: "The moon: beautiful. To those concerned about the availability of affordable Yello CDs in the US, CD Universe is accepting pre-orders for the 2-CD "The Eye" release of January 25 for $13.99. <http://www.cduniverse.com> Paul
Looks this way. I personaly wont spend the A$40 to get it, and will wait for the video to circulate, which i'm sure wont take long with us all. I already have both the eye album and the planet dada maxi, and dj record as well shaun -----Original Message----- From: yello-bounces+sajt=tvsched.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:yello-bounces+sajt=tvsched.com@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Jon Kamm Sent: Saturday, 8 January 2005 7:22 AM To: yello@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [Yello] The Eye Bonus CD The second CD has the same tracks as the Planet Dada CD maxi.
