Here is Greg Wilson's Mix and the new remaster mix of Lost Again mixed together by Greg from the mailing list. I love how he started it with the footsteps. Briliant. Nice job Greg! http://homepage.mac.com/jonathankamm/LostAgainGr3gMix.m4a
This is a flawless nicely assembled mix technically, however, and please don't take this as harsh destructive crit., but I found the introduction (after the footsteps, way too cool) to become a little repetitive, as in it was looped a few too many times. it was looped a few too many times. it was looped a few too many times, (and I ran out of E to really enjoy it). The framework was created, and well established in the listeners head, but instead of allowing it to evolve, with increased instrumentation, rhythm or accent or whatever, it looped again and again. I started to get a little bored with it, but fortunately I stuck it out long enough to get into the meat of the mix. I'm glad that I did too! From almost the midpoint to the end this mix is flowing, intriguing, even lilting, and a nice retouch of one of my favorite Yello tracks. Thanks to Jon for posting it. Thanks to GR3G for taking the time to create the mix. Laurens van Graft The Grip Guy (thegripguy@rogers.com) All your gymnastics grip needs right here! Abolish Daylight Savings Time; it's past its usefulness, and I'm tired. On Sep 27, 2005, at 2:58 AM, Jon Kamm wrote:
