Re: [Yello] Ebay crybaby whining about buying something that they should have...
I appreciate the information. Since when is this DVD not available? I thought it was released last year? If that is not so, I am mistaken, but selling illegal copies of any copywrited material is seriously dangerous in the USA> Peace to you my friend Russ Sonofchilly is the offender.
It's a russian bootleg that has been around for a couple of years. It's actually in PAL format if I remember and will not play on your regular dvd players in the US. jul On Nov 4, 2004, at 12:01 PM, TofP@aol.com wrote:

Therefore, I say Nail the offending sonofab*&^h!. There is hardly any new YELLO material released here in Canada as it is, so I would be extremely X-ed off if something like this happened to me! This is the main reason that I hgave not bought anything from the internet, as there is no way to authenticate the originality of the material until it is too late!!. Well, it should be pretty easy to tell if there isn't a "real original" anywhere in the world in the first place!!! And it's not like Our Witless Ebay Shopper is some sort of victim..., as your "so I would be extremely X-ed off if something like this happened to me!" seems to imply. Did sonofchilly reach out and press cold steel into OWES back and say "buy or die"? Suckers only need bid, and $14.99 plus shipping seems a fair "Cannot Be Bothered To Do A Little Research Tax" to me.
This is the main reason that I hgave not bought anything from the internet, as there is no way to authenticate the originality of the material until it is too late!!. Horsepuckey.
)a) The InterNET doesn't sell anything. )b) There are all sorts of ways to authenticate the legitimacy of a seller, and therefore the property for sale. Be aware of with whom you deal /via/ the InterNET, and you, like me, will never be swindled. Use prepaid credit cards. Verify seller's ebay feedback/rating, or if dealing with a "real store", go by reputation. Now you are solid, yes?. --gcr
I'm now SOLID, YES However, There isn't a record (I'm showing my age here!) store around me that still has a copy of "SOLID PLEASURE", or any other more recent YELLO releases! I can't EYE one here anyway. I wish I could but from the local shops, but due to the "BABY" -faced record company execs, they just cant "...Say Yes to Another Excess" and release a few copies here in North America, as we are just a small "POCKET" in the "UNIVERSE" not mainstream, as they would like us to have. It's hard as hell to purchase "The RHYTHM DEVINE", the old customary way. I have "NO MORE (choice)WORDS" as it is just like trying to kick the "ZEBRA" in the as*! Here's a thiught to pass along to the YELLO OFFICIAL SITE, open up a 'store' where we can order legitamite material directly from the source, it would have a "MAGNETIC" effect upon all of us, and allow us to catch up and complete our catalogues. Perhaps they could call it "THE OCEAN CLUB", where we could get in "ONE SECOND", everything that we "DESIRE". Please tell me "HOW HOW" we could "DO IT"!, ir di I have to wait till the "3RD OF JUNE" Laurens van Graft The Grip Guy All your gymnastics grip needs right here!
