The first day I got the CD, I grabbed the headphones and sat down >somewhere where I wouldn't be disturbed (I do this with most of my new >CDs >so I can concentrate on the music better).
I got the Essential Christmas (Essential Yello plus Tremendous Pain and Jingle Bells) CD today and I tried to do as you said above. I got a much better experience of the music. From now on, I shall do that with every new CD I get, thanks for the tips :-) Chris

I'm glad you are enjoying the experience even more. :) Boris does sneak in little things every now and then. That is one thing that keeps me listening. Sometimes I'll here something in the background that I swear wasn't there before. :D A great example is the train in "On Track". At the end, you may have noticed that the click-clack from the wheels of the train is a loop (so very well done, of course :) ), but the rhythm of it is musical! I find myself moving to the beat all the time now. Ahh.. the Rhythm is Divine! ;) ----- Original Message ----- From: The Warlock To: yello@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Thursday, September 05, 2002 2:28 PM Subject: [Yello] How to listen to a new Cd
