I've answered my own question. There's two MP3's available at http://www.astropitch.com. On the site click "Click Here" under "What's the Noise?" (Bottom left.) Both tracks ("Betty's Body" and "Smelly Tongues") are said to be on the "Petting Zoo" album mentioned earlier. Interesting stuff. I don't think I'm going to buy the album, but if a friend owned it I'd probably borrow it sometimes to see if it would grow on me. -Bob

My sentiments exactly - they're a bit out there, and I can't see myself listening to them over and over, but it is an interesting listen. I guess their older stuff (from early-mid 70s) is supposed to be a bit more catchy and 'ground-breaking'. I'm going to try to pick up their first couple of albums and decide from there.

You have to admit though, "Betty's Body" is kinda catchy. And it's one of their newer tracks too...

Are there any Residents fans on this list?
