You could say that I bought myself a copy of The Eye for Christmas. I ordered it from Amazon.uk in late November, but the order was delayed because one of the other items I ordered wasn't available, so it was posted on Christmas Eve. By the time it arrives it will be January, so it will almost be a birthday present for me (from me) as well!
