My name is Brian, from Ontario Canada, age 30, and my first yello purchase was The Race on cassette in 1988, followed quickly by The New Mix In One Go. My goal is to try and get as many people turned on to yello as i possibly can, and it usually starts like this: Person: Yello? never heard of them. Me: Sure, you have. You've even heard some of their music without knowing it. Person: Really? I doubt it... Me: Have you seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off? Person: ya.... Me: Remember the scene with the Ferrari? Person: oh yeah... what's the name of that song? Me: "Oh Yeah." ... to which they inevitiably start going "OW OW CHIKA-CKIAAAAH" most of the time they change the subject after a while, but sometimes I get to play other songs they recognize like The Race, and Vicious Games... I even had one guy like them so much he went out and in the span of a month spent several hundred dollars buying the complete back catalog, as was available at the time. That was sweet. I preach the music of Yello! *throws down his jacket on the ground, steps on it, and begins preaching like a monk from another world* Random Tox _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
