Shaun here, and one of several Aussies on the list. 29yo, and found yello with the video clip for Oh Yeah. since then it's been prety stedy round trip of trying to tell people who yello are, thanks to zero local record company and radio support. The TV Program Rage, which plays non stop video clips in the wee-small hours of Saturday and Sunday morning has been the only occational tv dose of Yello. The odd snippet in the various movies they have contributed to as well is always nice. FYI the last Yello album to be released here was Hands on. Thank god for the internet. ebay for those interested is a nice place to pick up lp's for those looking. I am aware, as i'm sure the rest of us are of the bootlegs, but there's still plenty out there. I supose we all are a bit funny in what we listen to. Aside from a nice yello collection, Prince, Michal Jackson and Weird Al Yankovic are also dominant in my collection. A prety varied mix there ;) Shaun Turner. -----Original Message----- From: yello-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:yello-bounces@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of graeme Sent: Tuesday, July 08, 2003 7:39 PM To: yello@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [Yello] where are we all from? Hi group.....just a quick mail to ask where we are all from and how we became interested in the godfathers......I am from north east england 30 yrs old and became interested in yello back in 1988 (unknown to me before then) when I heard The Race on the radio...ever since I have collected everything that I could lay my hands on including a duplicate of "you know who" on 7".....mail me privately if anyone is interested in buying....don't want to put it onto ebay as I know here that we are all fans...never know with ebay... Thanks..Graeme "Take the Yello flag, start The Race, Tied Up in movies for your mind" graeme.fishwick@ntlworld.com --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
