Yes,
I've seen the same results on my computer at home. Since you're synching the
entire web page to 1 level deep,
you
get all the files at the end of all the links - RA and MP3. About double the
amount of data transfer that you actually
needed. In other words, anyone who pays for internet access by the
hour/etc. will have paid about twice as much to get
the
files than they actually needed to. It's nice
that there's an automatic way to get the files, but not so nice
that it grabs
everything whether you wanted it or
not.
btw -
I could also save RA file. I found if I right click on the mp3 or ra icon,
I have a choice to "save target as" and that choice downloads the file to the
location of my choice. Same thing as what was said, just a little
different wording...
Did
you get both the MP3s *and* the RA files with this method?
THANKS!!! Thanks to everybody for you help! I don't quite
know how I stumbled into it, but in attempting to follow these directions I
managed... I jumped up and down with glee!
Mwa! (that's one of those marilyn monroe
kisses)
Hi all,
Add this page to your favourites
list
Check the "Make availabable offline"
box
Set links radio buttom to Yes
Set "Download pages 1 links deep from this
page"
Chose "Manual synchronize"
You should get a "Synchronizing" window,
indicating that all the MP3s get downloaded to your cache directory. Once
this is finished (it may take a while), you can save the MP3s easily one by
another from the webpage quickly.
Advanced users will find a way to locate the
MP3s in the cache directly.
Select synchronize from the Tools menu in IE to
update the cache.

Franz
