These are all pirated versions of YELLO.
Not bootlegs. Because bootlegs contain hard to find material.
I wonder what is on that Anthology CDROM. Does anyone have one?
It says it has high quality pictures. Pictures of what? Album covers? :)
I just tried playing one of those CD-Video’s in my computer and DVD player and it does not work.
I’m quite sure (as I remember) when I first purchased them I played them on my friends Laser Disc player. It was all scrambled because of PAL but it did work. So Jeroen was correct with the whole strange “CD-Video” “Video-CD”. There must be a place we could send it to have them transfer it. Georg I will put my share of money in. Anyone else up for it? Would be nice to have a digital transfer of it?
In fact why don’t we start a project to get all the videos on DVD? Have some place transfer our VHS versions of old video’s to a digital format. I will volunteer my self to the creation of the DVD it self. Then we would just burn copies on the computer. So the only thing we would have to pay for is... 1. The transfer of some tapes to digital. 2. Blank DVD’s which I know from the Apple Store are about $5 a piece.
I know it won’t be the best quality video but it’s something that would satisfy us until the real thing comes out. And of course keep it just to the YELLO list. I think other band clubs do this kind of stuff all the time. So I think the small group that we have here would be ok?
Wow I’m exited by that idea :)
Anyone, anyone, ?

The live version of Resistor was performed in Dortmund, thought you would like to know.
Here is a page where you can by the Yello Golden Collection: http://www.ultramusicstore.com/artist/yello.htm
The live version of Resistor is actually one of Yello's best songs, I think.
And by the way, I can play video CDs at my DVD player. Although it says that it support it. You should be able to play video CDs at your computer too, if you have Power DVD.
