I am sending you the final (at least it seems so, after thousands listenings) version.
I'm Italian so I understand better certain words...
You must know that this is the story of an emigrant (arrived in Rome 20 years ago) that don't speak well Italian Language..He talk in an half Sicilian Slang (Catania is in Sicily of course).. So the words could sound strange for an italian too....
It seems to have been an entertainer in the Rome of 60/70 years... The "dolce vita" years... "Marcello" seems to be "Mastroianni" (the famous actor) and "Luciano" maybe is "Luciano Salce" (A famous film director). "Paolo Silvestri" was also a Band conductor. Lolita del Sudan a young arabian dancer....
Hope to have ended exactly the translation.........
