David Bowie's "Bowie At The Beeb" boxed set a few years ago had a similar mistake - the track "Ziggy Stardust" was supposed to be 2 different versions <lp and BBC session> yet one version was duplicated, ommitting the other. They <EMI> sent out a single one track cd with the missing version to folks who emailed them <probably pretty collectible now!>, then corrected the error on subsequent pressings of the cd. I think having a song duplicated twice on a major release is a MAJOR f**kup - they'll need to do something about this for sure. Are we sure this error is on the general release and not just on promo cd-rs or test pressing cds? That's the first thing I thought of.... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Franz Gall" <franz.gall@gmail.com> To: "The moon: beautiful. Mark,
Punished? If they reissue we got ourselves a collectors item. I don't see them doing anything about it. It's just one track that was already released on the first remasters. They could simply release the correct track on iTunes or something. That would make more sense.
This release is a teaser for the other full remaster albums to come. I'm really glad to see a track from Eccentrix Remixes on here. I was worried they wouldn't remaster that album. Can't wait to hear "More" (rockibilly remix) remastered.
