I also did say a Hybrid-SACD. That's a SACD with two layers. One for the normal good-old PCM, and one with the resolution of a DVD and that will be in STS.
Why do I like to see a SACD? Couse the attention they have to remaster will be mutch more then "only" a remaster. So on that the CD-layer will also sound better.

... and which one cannot listen to with a "regular" CD player. So not only will one have to pay for the AMAZINGLY artificially inflated price of the SACDs themselves, but one will have to fork for an AMAZINGLY artificially expesnive player.

It may be nice, it may sound AWEXOME, but, well, the last thing I need is for a probably 50-70sud boxed set to suddenly come with a 200usd sticker + a new appliance.

No thanks. "Plain old CD" will do just fine.
If you just so happen to live the USA, you pick up one of the least expensive SACD players in the world for barely $ 200 US dollars. Replacing your entire collection. Hot going to happen. But I'll tell all of you, Pink Floyd's "Dark Side OF The Moon" is friggen amazing. Especially because it is also in 7.1DD
