I come from the north east of England also, 26 years old though, first heard (or realised I was listening to) back in ’88 also what my older brother was collecting all their stuff, I didn’t start myself until around ’91, the release of ‘Baby’, ‘Sweet Thunder’ encouraged me to explore their works a bit more myself and since then have been a proper fan.

Hi group.....just a quick mail to ask where we are all from and how we became interested in the godfathers......I am from north east england 30 yrs old and became interested in yello back in 1988 (unknown to me before then) when I heard The Race on the radio...ever since I have collected everything that I could lay my hands on including a duplicate of "you know who" on 7".....mail me privately if anyone is interested in buying....don't want to put it onto ebay as I know here that we are all fans...never know with ebay...
