Okay... Let's get it straight once more. The copy protection that ships on todays released cd's is nothing but a trick where otherwhise not available to the system datasegements become available for the player. A bit like the copy protection on Game CD's where the original TOC contains an error, making copies hang, and where a software trick loads the so called right TOC that corrects it temporarely. The copy protected audio cd's only want you to install a player on your PC or Mac. And through that player the audio tracks become audible. By now I have a massive load of Original CD's with this copy protection. And some of the players were installed. I experience no problems whatsover with other cd's, either games, data, or my own audio project cd's, or other copy protected audio cd's. No problems will occur on XP machines or Mac platforms. The only problem that can occur is the usual load of shit that can happen to a system when it is not in good condition, and other so called system tools are playing tricks with the drivers that read the cd players. (like the cdxf.vxd on windows 98 that made audio cd's readable as data cd's with audio in wav format.) And now... Please stop using the list for requests of mp3 upload/ sharing involving new yello material or whatever. Rene
