Only if they have lots of oversampelling ie: 10 or more seconds, it corrects skips that way. I wouldn't bother, just stick with the MP3 Laurens van Graft The Grip Guy All your gymnastics grip needs right here! Pop ups are advertisements that just open and flash across the computer randomly and usually in the middle of trying to conduct a transaction and messes up or delays what you are working on... I do have pop-up blocker if I use Netscape, but I don't like Netscape and then I still get some pops. I never would have known a Mac or PC made a difference. I don't have the ipod or mp3 thingies either. Well, the household has an mp3 player but i never figured out how to use it and don't even know where all the wires and plugs are. My AM/FM/TAPE walkman works just fine for me (until I lose those little felt thingies)! Do you or anybody know if those CD walkmans that advertise themselves as being "jog proof" actually work? -----Original Message----- From: yello-bounces+tourguide=austexecotours.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:yello- bounces+tourguide=austexecotours.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Laurens van Graft Sent: Saturday, May 01, 2004 8:36 AM To: The moon: beautiful. That little white piece of felt is(was) rather critical, as it helps press the tape against the playback head, ensuring that you get the best possible sound out of the tape. Aren't you glad that the days of cassttes are (almost) over! I was always losing those little pieces of felt the tape rolled over and never knew how to fix it (or was too lazy, proabably).
