*On Behalf Of *Laurens van Graft
One of the things that I like most about musicians and bands is that when they grow, they tryout new things, explore new avenues, improving their sound and ideas along the way (ie: THE POLICE, YELLO, DEPECHE MODE, BLANCMANGE, TRACY CHAPMAN...)
You have a valuable point here. Although I didn't like Zebra or Pocket Universe that much, I had to admit, that I wouldn't have liked the idea of doing their early albums over and over again. And the latest couple of albums I have liked (I've already grown to like The Eye), although they are different from Solid Pleasure etc. I'm sure must of you agree, that there is this special Boris Blank touch that makes their music identifiable. And of course, few bands have singers like Dieter Meier. That hasn't changed over the years, and it shouldn't change either. -- Jussi Salmi http://staff.cs.utu.fi/~jussalmi/
