I am STILL afraid of those flying monkeys! and Smellovision sounds pretty frightening as well. -----Original Message----- From: yello-bounces+tourguide=austexecotours.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:yello-bounces+tourguide=austexecotours.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Rene Sent: Saturday, March 20, 2004 5:05 AM To: Yello List Subject: [Yello] Oz trauma's Hi Tasha, With mixed emotions I read your words on the Wizzard of Oz. It's a youth trauma... :-) I remember seeing it when I was very little, and got very disturbed when the witch got smashed by that house... and also when her sister was melting away because of water... The horror :-) I refused to take a bath after that! My parrents had to dig deep into the bag of psychology tricks to get me in the shower or bath again. However... I did see all three versions. The original, the one with M. Jackson, and the re-make of it. With healed trauma's :-) -
And Yello certainly takes me to such a place, foreign and bizarre and scary and happy and fun...
Yep. That's what the music does for me. In La Habanera is see Pedro standing outside the club... Most of the times it's creating a little video clip of images in my head for every track. When music can do that, it must be great. Rene
