I will not interfere with how to organise the server, but there's one thing that I think is important. Directories or not, I suggest that we should have a sort of index. Perhaps a text document which says which songs that are on the server, in alphabetical order.

Then it will be much more easier to find a specific song. Here a sort of example:

Santiago - "location on server"

Santiago Live "location on server"

S.......
