I was seeking support, not a ton a lame ass answers and rhetoric to a basic issue about copywrited material for sale. [snip] Glad to hear a few of you respect my position. That was all I was seeking................
Except you weren't just seeking support. You wanted a bunch of people on the list to join you in mass-emailing an individual with whom you were having a private disagreement. And this would appear to be before you have even attempted to follow all the normal methods of dispute resolution that eBay offers. I buy plenty of bootleg DVDs - all are for concerts or other material by artists like Jean Michel Jarre or the KLF that you cannot buy new at all, and are lucky to find second hand on VHS. Until a genuine DVD is released by the record company I'm more than happy to pay a fair price for the efforts of somebody else to do a decent encode of said material onto a DVD-R. Frankly, the only thing you have to complain about is that the description given by the seller did not make it clear you would be receiving a DVD-R. If you return the goods and the seller returns your money then it's my opinion you can stop trying to start a witch-hunt on this mailing list.
If you wish to vent, go kick your neighbor dog or cat or kangaroo.
Just a word of advice... NEVER kick a kangaroo. In their legs they have some of the most powerful muscles of any animal on the planet and they wouldn't think twice about giving you a kick right back! Michael
