Rene I had the great pleasure of viewing the Live at the Roxy video last night and wanted to thank you for putting that together. To my undisciplined eye, I couldn't tell that it had been assembled out of separate images. I looked for the out-of-sync part you mentioned (audio/video) but didn't see it the first time round. Thanks for taking the trouble to do it and sharing with us! Interestingly, the soundtrack matched exactly my recollection of the 12" EP I've got. Watching them, especially the young-looking Boris, it didn't look like he was doing very much playing music at all. So, to bring up an already discussed topic on this list, they must have had it all sequenced and ready to go at the push of a switch come showtime. All they had to do was kind of ham it around on stage for the 15 minutes or so of the piece. Is it even possible that the vocals were pre-recorded and they were just lip-syncing at the right moment? Could anyone comment on the relative state of the technology they used to produce Live at the Roxy, compared to what's available today? I mean, how much of a hardship would it have been? Certainly the display technology would be miles ahead today compared to the vector graphics monitor that appears in the video. Same for the horsepower of the processors- way faster today. I guess I'm wonderin how different today's effort would be compared to LATR. Thanks Again! Rory
