An alternative could be that the FTP site would be at "ftp.yello.ch". Yeah, you get that set up, and we'll roll our stuff right over. You just let us know once that server is available. [ ... ] It is nowadays for Yello very easy to fix the situation: set up a commercial mp3 site. Again, you just let us all know when that's up and running!
I have nothing to do with Yello management. I will post my mail to Yello management too as I already planned. My article was a discussion between all the parties involved, not with us only. I have already posted to Yello management on this issue a couple of months ago, but got no reply at that time.
Of course, Yello could always set up a proper site for purchasing high quality mp3 files either individually, in punch, or in yearly subscription basis. Here's another copy of the pertinent part of the README.FIRST file found on the server, since you appear to have missed its earlier posting:
That was not the point. I have seen the readme file. No matter what you write to that file, it all is illegal. I were worried about Rene who seemed to keep the FTP site on his work computer. When police comes, they take the whole computer. If Yello sets up ftp.yello.ch with the same readme file, then that would make us all be safe. It also gives Yello more time to make quality releases of rarities without keeping us on hold anymore.
In any case, it can be debated (in court, not here please)... Then you should not have brought it up here. You offer your misguided opinion and immediately wish to deny responses? That is very bad for you.
I only mean that there is no point of discussing about it here. We need a case in court, and highest possible decision on the issue. Nothing else matters. Best regards, Juhana
