Yell Yello and you've got my ears Tied to your
Voice.
My misstress will kill me for this, or just
leave me, but today
I went into the store and got myself a brand new
video
capture device.
It's features are less than what the reseller told
me, and
I was to Tied Up in thinking excuses for my Domina,
to
have a closer look at it myself.
But, with some software enginearing and a
couple
of thousand WIndows XP crashes, I managed to
get
the card going the way I intended it.
And so I could do a serious test on the Yello
Video's
again. Coincidently I used Tied Up. For
true.
The final - net version - with DivX and
160kbps mp3
is about 30 megs in size and looks very
clean.
It has sharp borders and no interlacing
artifacts.
Plus, that it is in 384x288 which should
give
the opportunity to view it on a tv in full
screen
when you have a descent video on your
graphics
card (hercules 9700 Pro, for example, but
that
card is too overprised).
I downloaded the Mpeg version from our binary
heaven,
and can say with utmost easy and pleasure
that
my version would be more the effort of
downloading.
And I'd like to add to this that I'm only putting
the effort
into this to get the best possible files into
our Yello
Collection. So who ever uploaded the Mpeg
versions,
don't be mad at me.
At this point I'd like to state again the goal
of
our collection: If you have better versions
of files, then upload! After a while it
should
be possible to eliminate files that are
balancing
on the edge of reasonable or bad.
And so I could also get comments on my
choise
of 160kbps for the Tied Up clip... well...
yes...
I could use a higher rate, and will test this, but
I believe that the files should also be
managable.
