Big difference..... We know what you meant. Wether you are serious or professional, or professional but not serious, this contest is designed to make money off downloads and then publicity for Yello, without paying what is

I have no interest in the contest so I am not complaining about it for me. It's just not very good ethics. You can say I am complaining because it isnt what it should be for those who enter.
If they want the best possible remix, and the maximum amount of publicity, why not release the remix files as Creative Commons free downloads, spread on torrent networks,
archive.org and from Yello's own site? That way even more people would see/hear the music and possibly enter the contest.

Really? How many copies will a
Yello remix CD sell? 500.000 maybe? One million? You know how much money royalties from such sales will mean for one person who remixed one track?

Sure, but you would still do the remix for free if the remix files were available for free to everyone.
