You must not of been able to open the QuickTime 7 clip at all. No, as I said, I was able to open them /without/ QT.
To better help you form an opinion here is a sample of the picture quality difference. H.264 is on the left. ... and having been able to see them both, the improvement is hardly worth the fuss of going to a newer yet still proprietary codec. There are other /cross plaform/ and /open/ codecs that outperform your iReligion.
There is a Pro version that allows you to create your own QuickTime movies and gives you total control over the content. Somehow this is groundbreaking and worthy of a squeal of delight? FREE, OPEN, CROSS-PLATFORM software and codecs that provide this same ability have been available for eons. Many of these codecs are at the very least on par and are in some cases even better than your iReligion.
