The prizes are pretty good, but it would have been awesome if the first prize could have been a day or two with Boris in his Studio. Anyone who could do a good remix of something by Yello deserves to meet the king, especially any "amateur". That might be the case, because the special prize seems to indicate a few days with a remowned producer. But it doesn't mention a name. -----Original Message----- From: yello-bounces+rfiler=sierrawireless.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:yello-bounces+rfiler=sierrawireless.com@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Juhana Sadeharju Sent: Tuesday, March 16, 2004 10:44 AM To: yello@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [Yello] Remix contest Hello. Jonas posted that at June starts a remix contest where Yello provides material. Read here in german: www.start-ab.com Could somebody translate the relevant information to english? Questions: At exactly what site and what page the sound clips will appear? When exactly the audio clips become available? Is it allowed only to use the given audio clips? Is mp3 format allowed as submission format? How many submissions are allowed per remixer? At exactly what page the submissions are uploaded to? Prior to June I would like to have a step by step guide for downloading and uploading so that no time is wasted in learning the use of software and web basics. The start-ab and clip-ab sites already are very messy looking.
