The best articles I have seen on that is from the "Music Technology" articles on Yello. Do a search on that. Although they are older articles that has older equipment in it. I know since then he has moved to new equipment. A couple of things I do remember: He of course uses a Macintosh, Emagic's Logic Audio, Waldorf (Pulse I think, You can hear Waldorf all over Pocket Universe) That's all I can remember about the new set up. Hello. I looked at those photos in www.mayday.de (History/1995/Photos). Anyone has better photos of the live performance, perhaps showing the gear Boris and Dieter used? Anyone know what gear was used?
I'm actually interested in to know how the gear was used, because, inspired by Live at the Roxy performance, I designed and partially implemented a software suitable for Yello kind of (so I believe) performances.
Then, anyone know details how the Live at the Roxy was performed? I have the video collection having short pieces of the live performance but I could not understand the details from that.
Best regards,
Juhana
