Most of those solos are by Beat Ash. The ones that are the latest ones are not credited so I don't know if they would be older samples he has of beat ash or something he sampled somewhere else. From what we know about Boris though the would be something he created. The song Moon Dog. There is a sample in that song that I think came from the Star Trek movie (one about saving the whales). I swear the noise the big black craft made in that movie is the large background sound in Moon Dog in the breaks. Can anyone else check and confirm that? It sure sounds very similar. I've always wondered who plays the drums on Yello's music. There are lots of examples of drumming that sounds real and not synthesized:
Squeeze Please - background drumbeat and Loud bongos Pinball Cha Cha - Bongos The Race - Awesome drum solo (near the end of the FTP video)
Is Boris playing them or is it someone (unnamed) else?
Just curious.
