(Told you 'guys', I'm still here!) Wether you go off topic or not, in my humble opinion, doesn't matter. The exchange if information regarding music is vitally important, and you CAN'T rely upon RADIO or Music Television to do this anymore, else you become a robot and be fed what they tell you to like (The new DIDO album is great, but you wouldn't know it from the title track, or from "I Will Go Down With This Ship", the 'Chart Single' that gets a lot of play.. ie: mainstream top 40, and usually the worst track on the album. When I was growing up as a teenager, there was this small low power radio station CFNY, (that was almost like Veronica off the coast of the UK), that played non commercial radio, but didn't have the annoying long talk-overs that college radio gets into. they were actually the first place I heard Yello(aaaah, back on topic) but refused to play ANYTHING twice in a 24 Hour period, including Commercials, and later even offered prizes if you could "Catch Us If You Can", I did a few times, but on a technicality as they played a different mix of the same song. Basically, you may be off topic, but still spreading important information, sharing your views on other great artists and albums, that we probably wouldn't ever hear of otherwise. Since we all have common ground in Yello, what we say regarding other artists carries with it a lot more weight, so DON'T STOP!!
