Hi Chris
Welcome to the list. I bet listening to The Race while
watching a 'cycle race would be awesome. I'll have to give that a try
myself!
As for The The, I enjoy the music almost as much as Yello,
though the lyrics are hard to take sometimes. I picked up an album of theirs
about 5 years ago (can't recall the name) with great expectations and only liked
1 track - a nice acoustic one. Start contract to the cacophany that was the rest
of the album.
In my view, only Yello has the staying power to be able to
produce fresh music after all these years.Someone else on the list said Yello is
a parody of its former self. I disagree with that, although the music has
clearly changed. Be careful about saying stuff like this though. I once
made a comment that I thought Boris was having "issues" during the
production of Pocket Universe and it provoked a couple of irate responses
to the list! Watch what you say!
Generally, this is a good list with usually excellent
content.
Regards
Rory
Hi there

Have been reading the The The post from Rory - I

Other musical interests are Kraftwerk along with
most forms of electronic/house/dance; Moloko, Mylo, Bob Sinclair, Chemical Bros,
Kid Loco, Way Out West, Leftfield etc. I also enjoy motorcycles (own a

Really looking forward to the remasters and new
