construction sonor is a sonic journey beneath the alps. The basis of this conceptual album are the field-recordings on CD-A, which Zurichs musician an composer Bernd Schurer did at the tunnel construction sides at Gotthard und Lötschberg. CD B contains 13 tracks of wellknown and young artists of different musical genres, all based on this material. Coorespronding to this fact, the sounds are very different. As for Monolake, Seelenluft or Intricate the beat plays the leading role of the track, ErikM, Fennesz, Mahmoud Refat or Luigi Archetti do precision and slender arrangements with a more experimental note. Master Boris Blank did a easily poptrack, as his younger and talented college Balduin and with Tessins Table the tunnel now sounds a loungy place. The Jazz duo Drumpet from Uri did a real New-Jazz piece and Müller/Korber or Donze/Jean/Quennoz are improvising the tunnel by using elektronika and instruments.

This album will give you an overview to contemporary musical work in electronica in Switzerland and other countries. construction sonor will take you on a sonic trip beneath the Alps.
