@Nic, I know that it is possible ,Maybe in the future I '' ll use a clear sample for a song.(like Oh yeah or something from soul on ice). Then i ask them.(how to contact them?) But in this case it was just for fun for me to use it ,as a fan . . @Julian, Give me your adres and I 'll send you one, okay?:) @Greg, Thanx M8! The next Trillian release will be a typical Yello song (like oh.yeah,Tigerdust) without Yello samples.I'm workin on it now,and it is half finisht. This week I'll upload a sneak peak if ya like. It's very,..Eh..danceble. (no House,ot teckno, trance ) Something differend!:) The funpart for me is now that I'm fulltime composer I have the full benefit of my Yello background. Whole my life I've been listening to Yello and that makes me a my sound today for commercials ,radio, leaders differend than other composers. And for the first time in my life I can live on making music. Damn ,that feels good! :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nic" <trickynic@gmail.com> To: "The moon: beautiful. A mixer / producer I know in the UK will use a sample, then release the record as a bootleg, and of course the band / artiste concerned would hear and either disapprove, or like it. If they disapprove, it was only limited release, if they like, they recieve credit and royalties, and the record gets a full release. Good luck, but I hope the above guides you. Of course you could always just contact the music producers / licencing of Yello, and see what they say! On 29/11/05, Arno Natte <arnoo@wanadoo.nl> wrote:
The cd single Love for a Season.
I had to cut out the Yello samples because I don't want any trouble with our frends and recordlabel. In Holland I got a nice radioairplay here ,so with a bit of luck it might reach the charts.:)
