Hi there, Well I know one thing for sure... Boris is using his Fairlight with lightpen and screen. But to what extend he was playing 'live' is hard to say. I also have the video collection and at some point I hear sounds and notes that aren't in sync with Boris's keystrokes. But whocares? I have been a witness of two Kraftwerk Live shows... They even had two computer hang-ups and had to reset the lot... Cool. That's the real thing. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Juhana Sadeharju" <kouhia@nic.funet.fi> To: <yello@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Monday, April 07, 2003 5:59 PM Subject: [Yello] Mayday/Resistor
Hello. I looked at those photos in www.mayday.de (History/1995/Photos). Anyone has better photos of the live performance, perhaps showing the gear Boris and Dieter used? Anyone know what gear was used?
I'm actually interested in to know how the gear was used, because, inspired by Live at the Roxy performance, I designed and partially implemented a software suitable for Yello kind of (so I believe) performances.
Then, anyone know details how the Live at the Roxy was performed? I have the video collection having short pieces of the live performance but I could not understand the details from that.
Best regards,
Juhana
