Is the Convention for us so that we may see each other, or is it a bigger meeting for any Yello fan (and people who just hear about the meeting)? If you go through Facebook etc., we may say no for visiting Dieter's dinner place, Wine place, the mode shop, etc. 100+ people just don't fit there. I would keep the discussion here. I don't want meet too unknown people. How many places the restaurant has? We all have to fit in. I suggest to reserve places in advance. If the places are small, private evening could be arranged. In the mode shop, she could prearrange Yello related items to shop: we also would like to know the prices in advance. Perhaps Boris could arrange us some kind of music show while we eat at the dinner place. Keeping it small could have advantages. I'm not active collector and I may not appear in the Convention, but I hope to see a lot of photos of you guys. If the Convention is too big, I drop out in any case, and visit later when the places are not that growded. A Yello concert within the big convention could turn my mind, though. Juhana

Guys and girls, If we end up in the position of never seeing another Yello CD, I wonder if there'd be some value in branching out to other artists. Unfortunately, I personally have never heard anything else like Yello. That said, my music interests go beyond Yello, and I wonder if its possible that many on this list might also enjoy other music as well, and if we'd benefit from sharing what that music is. There are a number of ways we could do this, we could post groups/bands we like that we feel are in some way related to Yello. Another way might be to share Pandora stations that have played music we like. (Pandora.com runs a music service (free) - you enter any group, album or artist, and pandora will attempt to play music similar to that - I have found a good 10-15 CD's I really enjoy, that I had never heard of before Pandora) What do you think?

Yello Convention 2010

Does anybody remember this idea being tossed about? I want to start planning a vacation to Switzerland next year. I do believe some folks on this list are nearby and qualified to make recommendations. You can email me off list if you wish... at the time I originally threw out the idea of such a convention, everybody was not very responsive due to money issues, which I imagine aren't any better these days... but I am going! I want to eat Dieter's organic beef and drink his wine at his resaurant (of which name I know but as soon as I went to type it I forgot - El Ojo del Agua? something like that) and all that stupid FAN stuff in addition to traveling the world to see a beautiful place. I am currently thinking August 2010...that gives us a year to plan, save up vacation time, and money. Thanks to those of you who have kept us posted on the mysteriously yet unrealeased new CD... and etcetera and so forth. I am still very excited to received Yello mail in my in box. Tasha from Texas, U.S.A. p.s. I guess in 2011 I'll have to go to Argentina and visit the farm and winery and polo club!
