Yello from Oz
Arno I'd love to get your mp3, please send a copy mate. Like Greg said all
your mixes are worthy. And your posts are well received.
That's so excellent that you have had such success, you must feel very
proud, even more so to have enough freedom to incorporate Yello-well maybe
not. I take it that you didn't publish your mix with Yello samples, is that
correct? Boris would surely not hesitate in having his samples sampled
legally, after all he and Dieter both backed the Soul On Ice remix comp
didn't they.
That music from the Timepiece event is great, thanks heaps Franz; I have yet
to see the video as it's still downloading.
I am actually surprised that Yello are releasing another album, I wonder if
they had a lot less money if they would continue on the same road. I know
that their popularity has increased, but wonder now by how much. Are they
becoming big, as in very well known in Europe???? You just absolutely never
hear of them in Oz, new people I meet are seldom aware of them either.
Apart from the 3 Aussie Yello fans (that I know of) not much interest would
come from Oz, the same would be elsewhere surely.
In saying this it would be awesome for Yello to have more notoriety as
availability of new stuff would be inevitable, even down under.
Anyway just food for thought.
Hey Jon mate, Thanks for your posts of those videos, unreal mate.
Greg you are responsible for such awesome quality to disc first? Jon and I
have spoken about a video I have that I have been trying to capture for ages
to no avail. It is a PAL VHS tape of Do It, it has an extended version on it
also, so there are 2 rare as hens teeth vids that I want to share. Is it
possible for me to send it to you so as you can do what you do best, I'll of
course cover all costs. Talk to me off the list please Greg. My IM thingy is
yellofromoz if that’s easier.
Catch You all later
Paul
