Invitation to the World Premier

Yes this is the invitation to the Yello Documentary which will premier on January 27th at a film festival in Solothurn/Switzerland I hope someone will be able to attend and tell us all about it.

stupid videos

I knew that would get some response~! I find that watching MTV or VH1 in general to be almost entirely without entertainment value. My favorite vid of all time is "Take On Me" by Aha. Not that I have exactly seen too many, as I refuse to pay for cable TV. So when I stay at a hotel or somewhere with cable, I flip to those stations and all I ever see are commercials and inane VJs. I end up watching the History or Travel channels usually. The not-so-subtle reference to Aerosmith having stupid videos made me laugh. I do like Aerosmith, I've been to a concert even. But their videos are stupid! ha ha Come to think of it, I must admit to enjoying Michael Jackson videos. and MC Hammer. I don't know why. I can't help it.

Yello DVD: quality or what?

Hey Does anybody know about this eBay item? Is this the same burned DVD that was so passionately argued about in November re: whether the seller had good intentions in selling this to the public? roger that, i had yellos video collection and watched it a couple times then got rid of it, they sound better than they look and i guess best that way.

Latest Yello Documentary News

Yes, The Swiss Film Group will be producing a 60 minute documentary on Yello, that will be released (broadcasted) in March 2005 on Swiss television and later on 3sat, the German satellite television channel. The "official" premiere will take place in a film festival in Solothurn/Switzerland on January 27th. They will also present excerpts of this programme at the MIDEM music market end of January 05 in Cannes and hope to sell the broadcasting rights to other television stations worldwide. At the same time They are in negotiations with Universal for a worldwide DVD release. They hope that the film will be available in the U.S. in 2005 as well. Those of you who live near Solothurn Switzerland should not pass up the opportunity to possibly meet the boys. Could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Even if they don't show I am sure it would be worth it just being there for a part of Yello history. , Jonathan
