Yello from Oz Hey has anyone got the Yello absynth samples from the NI site? I would also love some good tutorials, I could RTFM but I would rather RTFT. After hearing Planet Dada so many times I still don't like it much, but the rest of "The Eye" is so great. Still love their older stuff so much more. But then again I love all their stuff. Just a side note- Brian- I happened to see your website and your Hummer, you're a lucky bugger, I want one of them so much; it would be perfect for the Great Aussie Outback. They are just so incredibly expensive in Australia, probably elsewhere also, but I can understand why you are passionate about it, almost as good as a Chevrolet; hey Rene? They are the superstars cars. Does anyone know who won that Zebra Fiat that was in a competition some years back? Nice little broom broom. And one last thing, someone in this group was standing in Zurich square on that day that Dieter promised to be standing on his plaque in 94, who was it? Paul J

I just got an XM Delphi Roady for the car and love it, although I've heard no Yello on it yet. There are three wires coming from it that go right back into the dashboard that can be removed if I wanted to bring it in the house. There is apparently a home station available for it for free, available starting now I believe. I think the reason there aren't complete packages is that everyone's needs are different. Since I didn't want to replace my entire AM/FM tuner, and don't have a cassette deck in the car, I got the one that broadcasts on 87.9 FM. You will be so amazed by the selection of music you will wonder how you ever got along with just AM, FM and your personal music collection. I should have thought to ask y'all this a couple weeks ago, but I'm wondering your experiences with satellite radio. I'm getting my husband the Delphi for Valentines (I know it's late, I took him shopping early but we were so overwhelmed we decided to sleep on it and go back after we educated ourselves better). I've read a variety of reviews and people seem to like it a lot, except that every damn piece of wire or box or antenna is sold separately... I've seen a few "complete" packages, but they look kind of cheesy compared to the way the Delphi looks. There's another one that says it can play on "any" FM radio, but it is designed for cars and doesn't have a home kit... Do you have any input? Thanks

At that time in the 80's Yello were considered as electronics Avantgardisten and it were chic to have at least one of its two success albums "Stella" or "You Gotta Say Yes ton of Another Excess" in the disk cabinet. Two Swiss were overrated and their single successes sound perfect already at that time today - contrary to projects such as The kind OF Noise - after cheap 80's-Pop. One hardly believes it, but Yello exist actually still. But the time passed them perfectly. "The Eye" is a altbackenes, completely redundant album, which reaches really deeply into the 80's-mothball box. The inexpressible sounds and this pseudo jazz Geklimper are pure smooth-ironed Pop, as it is to propel the masses in each x-arbitrary department store to the consumption. On the point Yello drive it, by copying their own sounds in each second song simply. Only small light view is a singer Jade Davie, which strives itself fairly around nice melodies. Which all thing is one of these technical OI OP-Parts reasonable to take out? Who looks for good contemporary electronics music, which should tunlichst the fingers of "The Eye" to leave. Also (perhaps remaining) the Yello fans should rather insert the originals - and I recommend those to each Popfreund here by far innovativeren Snap! It is evenly nevertheless better to stop, before one becomes its own caricature! [ tvd ] What a load of bullshit. One very opinionated reviewer who obviously has a dislike for that genre altogether.
