Typo is not mine. Anyone has Keys 2004/1 interview? Does it have photos with gear? A gear list? Ok, Boris uses Absynth2, that we know already. Also Boris has Novation's Supernova and Clavia's Nord Lead 2. Please post the list you have "as is". Don't add the above gears to it yet if it misses them. From what I can recall, this cd of samples was released for DJ's and musicians to use and not have to wory about paying additional royalties to Yello--hence the rather high price for the disc in the first place. You may remember that at the time, there were a lot of lawsuits launched by the original recording artists as large parts of their songs were sampled and or copied without the necessary royalties being paid. The best one That I remember was KD Lang setteling out of court when The Rolling Stones copied the entire melody and structure(Framing) of her song "Constant Craving" into their song "Has Anybody Seen My Baby". Don't ask me how I remember these trivial things, I just do!! maybe some day I'll win a bundle on a trivia game. Laurens van Graft. She was a fan. I informed if she new about this Yello list, but he didn't know. Next to the Chevy Beretta Club info I added the link to this list (which I looked up in my little apple notebook :-). Hello. Do you remember the sample CD mentioned in the Shade of Yello interview at year 1986? At that time I checked an extensive record catalog in a local record shop and there were mentioned a CD with price 200 euros/dollars. Has anyone that CD or heard about it? Was that the sample CD mentioned in the interview? The catalog was a yearly catalog, extensive. What that catalog could be? Can anyone of you locate such catalogs in the web? Then what about these 10 years old rumors that Boris has made/sold sound samples to Ofra Haza and Pink Floyd? Anyone know what sample libraries Boris uses? Like what is the sound heard in ftp://ftp.funet.fi/pub/culture/music/western/Yello/tv5mumbaiyellosound.wav http://www.funet.fi/pub/culture/music/western/Yello/tv5mumbaiyellosound.wav That recording was made from TV5 french language satellite channel when they had a special 24 hour Mumbai (Bombay) special. Anyone has Fairlight III default sound library? I have a poorly sampled Fairlight II default sound library. Anyone want check all Yello sounds out of it? The poor quality most probably came from a try to fit the samples to modern sampler format, but lack of sample engineering skills is obvious. Sustained sounds clicks. Anyone know a better Fairlight II sound library? Anyone has Fairlight II and could sit down and play through all sounds? No editing, no looping afterwards; only plain recording. Regards, Juhana

Hi there, This afternoon I said to my boss that it was in his best interest to send me home. It would make him a nicer person. And so he granted me persmission to leave the studio. I drove my Chevrolet Beretta through snow covered streets, while Hypsters Delay was blasting away.
