Hi all,
Perhaps it's just another way of redirecting my stress
of the last couple of days (creating websites & such),
but I've been reading and reading tons of text about
our friends.
The thing that struck me is that there are hundreds of
sites handing information about Yello out to the visitor,
but they all tell the same, and most of the times Yello's
last albums seems to be Baby or Flag. No updates.
Then there are the little mistakes or broken informations
feeds that try to tell you how it all started with our
aging Super Hero's of Sound.
1. Dieter was member of a band called "The Assholes",
before he joined Boris and Carlos, whilst in other text
I read about Meier being part of ... well whatever...I forgot.
2. On a page where The Matrix 12 is linked to all musicians
who use the device we see the name Boris next to a picture
of Dieter (a picture which was stolen from Laurent Raymond
who met B&D in a Hotel in Geneva '97)

To top it all of I stumbled on a review of a life gig
Yello did at Camden Pallace. And here I believe we
get to the real reason why Yello doesn't do any Live
Performances...
They lip-synced, with Dieter doing some voice and noice,
and when Boris wanted to use the mike it was dead.
Then the Residents came on, all in disquise and did
a little dance.
The gig was a mess, as the writer of the review claims...

Well... to be true with you all... As I read that story I felt
weird and didn't want to read it, but still I did. The nasty smell
of the writers breath seemed to be exhaled by the words.
Let's all hate: Jack Barron :-)

Then I read something more about Billy Mackenzie, that he
died from an overdose. And that he has recorded some 8 tracks with
Boris that are locked away in a save in Switzerland. And that Boris
doesn't want to release the tracks, because it feels like earning
money with someone elses death. Eventhough Mackenzie's familie
(father and brother) say that B. should release the material.
I haven't got a clue yet how out-dated that certain article is,
but it didn't seem that old.

I read that DIeter was born from an aristocrat family, giving him the
opportunity to do whatever he wanted to do from an early
point on in his life. ANd then there is this thing with a plaque
in Kassel. All kinds of different info taking the event into
a cloud of grey and uncertainty on what Dieter did, and when.

Oh sigh and jawn. I think its about tiem the a site is posted
on the net with all info correct and uptodate till the last minute...
okay day or week.
In respect to us, the fans, Yello could do something about their current
official site. It delivers nothing but less, and it's outdated.

We want more!!!

Yours trully,
