Dear Members, The tree planting ceremony to honor our Immediate Past President, Kari Malkovich, is coming up on Friday, May 15th. Joyce Short reports that not many members have sent her their orders. The deadline is this coming Thursday, May 8th, so if you plan to attend, please send your order and check soon. We can take credit card payments at the event, but Joyce needs your order in the mail or by phone by Thursday, May 8th in order to plan enough food. A gluten-free option is available also. Just indicate your choice when you mail your order to Joyce or call her. The luncheon is being held at the same location as the tree planting ceremony, which is the Kimball home at This Is The Place Historical Park, 2601 East Sunnyside Avenue, Salt Lake City, 84108. Directional signs will be posted. The lunch menu is chicken cordon bleu, rice, vegetable and salad with strawberry shortcake for dessert. The vegetarian option is stuffed manicotti with ricotta cheese in tomato sauce. Please note your selection to Joyce with your check by May 8th.
