Good Afternoon, The Bylaws & Handbook Committee and the Policy Committee have been meeting over the summer to revise the WSLC Bylaws and Standing Rules. The Standing Rules were sent to you in a previous email announcing yesterday's meeting. The Bylaws are still being worked on. During the Board meeting yesterday several members showed interest in meeting with the Bylaws Committee to provide input and suggestions for changes. Sylvia Rickard, Immediate Past President and Chair of the Bylaws and Handbook Committee, asked that I forward an invitation to all members who would like to attend the committee's next meeting and offer suggestions. The meeting will be on Wednesday, October 2 at 9:00 a.m. The committee meets at the home of Bette Voorhees, Policy Committee Chair. I will list her address below. Sylvia has set aside the first hour of the committee meeting for any member to provide suggestions on the revisions of our WSLC governing documents. The current Bylaws can be found in either the pink or green handbooks from the last four years.
