I have been asked to forward the following information to you regarding Wednesday's General Session where we will be discussing the Transfer of Public Lands Act. Attached are two resolutions - one supporting the transfer and lands and one opposing it. The resolutions will be discussed on Wednesday following our speaker's presentations. Members, the Energy/Natural Resources/Agriculture & Environment Legislative Study Committee invites you to spend some time learning about a major issue facing the state of Utah: The Transfer of Public Lands Act. Utah has a terrific web site housing everything pertaining to the business of the state. You can follow the first link to read the bill that started this movement. The second link will take you to a listing of the interim committee studying our lands, air and water. You can read the minutes from the meetings or listen to recordings of the meetings. The third link will take you to the economic analysis of the impacts of this bill, and the last two links are professional legal studies of the bill and its potential impacts.

We have an informative meeting planned for February 11^th. We invite you to take some time this weekend to learn more about these issues.
