We are saddened by the sudden passing of our dear friend and Past President, Kitty Kaplan. We will honor Kitty at our September general meeting and plan to make a donation to the Shalom project, which is mentioned in the following post from Kitty's family.
Dear Friends and Family,
It is with deepest regret that we inform you of Kitty's peaceful passing on July 9, 2016 following a severe brain aneurysm. We are all incredibly heartbroken and shocked as she lived such a vibrant and healthy life. Her selfless love knew no bounds and will live on in the hearts of all she met. Please take a minute to squeeze your loved ones a little tighter as this has been a painful reminder of just how fragile life can be.
Please join the family Tuesday 6-8pm for a visitation honoring Kitty's life at Evans and Early Mortuary (574 East 100 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84102).
Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 13th at 1pm, Evans and Early Mortuary, followed by burial at B'nai Isreal Cemetery (4th Avenue between R St. and Q St.).
In lieu of flowers please send donations to The Salt Lake City Jewish Community Center (www.slcjcc.org) or Shalom Salaam Tikkun-Olam Project (www.ncjwutah.org).
One of the greatest benefits of being part of WSLC is coming to know and learn from women like Kitty.
