Kathy Boyer forwarded us information about an event our new WSLC President, Shauna Scott-Bellaccomo, mentioned on Wednesday during her remarks - Equal Pay Day/Unhappy Hour event. The event is next week on Tuesday, April 14 at 6:00 p.m. You will find the gathering at Gracie's at 326 S West Temple in Salt Lake City.

Equal Pay Day/Unhappy Hour at Gracie's

The Salt Lake City Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is planning an Equal Pay Day/Unhappy Hour event. Please join us on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Gracie's at 326 S. West Temple to observe Equal Pay Day. As you may recall, this date symbolizes how far into the year women must work to earn what men earned by the end of the previous year. Although we are calling this an "unhappy" hour, we will definitely enjoy getting together. We hope many colleagues from other women's organizations will join us!
