Greeting members,

I hope you have enjoyed a safe and adventurous summer.  Please mark your calendar for the upcoming Wednesday, September 21st General Meeting beginning at noon in the Copper room at the State Capitol.  This meeting will allow our membership to hear from the individuals running for state office.  Not all of the individuals running for office will be able to attend.   State Issues Co-Chairs Kari Malkovich and Seraya Amirthalingam will provide an agenda as soon as possible, which I will distribute to you.  Click on this link for a complete list of state candidates:  http://voteutah.org/election-info.shtml 

Also, due to the passing of Kitty Kaplan, we are in need of a co-chair on the Health & Human Services Committee.  In order to keep representation equal between the parties, we are currently searching for a Democrat to serve in this position.  If you know of someone to recommend, please contact our president, Shauna Scott-Bellaccomo. 

We always welcome new members to the organization.  We encourage you to bring friends and co-workers to the September meeting and look forward to meeting together soon.
