Shout out to the Department of Natural Resources and County Fire who will be helping on that day! * Start now! Work on the area around your home first, starting with low brush and trees along the road. * Do not put your pile(s) on the city streets. * The chipper crew only comes through ONCE (even if you put more out later). * Do NOT take your neighbor's chipped piles without their permission. * We will be piling your chips adjacent to where your chipper pile was located. * Don't leave the chips in piles. Please rake them out after the chipping has finished. * Don't use machinal equipment (no tractors) to stack your piles. Only hand-stack your branches. * Your chipping pile needs to be completed prior to the chipper date. * Please log your clearing hours by filling out this online Google Doc form ( https://woodlandhills-ut.us19.list-manage.com/track/click?u=2ffdbabb491f2799... ) . Including: * 29 Extra Patrols * 6 Abandon 911 Calls (butt dials) * 5 Animal Problems * 3 Suspicious Sighting * 3 Information * And more! Sheriff's Corner: Animal Services is an essential part of Utah County Sheriff's Office community-related services to WH. The Sheriff's Office has three deputies that are assigned to the animal control division to provide animal control services, such as: answering animal related questions, picking up stray animals, assisting with vicious or diseased animals, lost and found pets, animal cruelty investigations, and enforcing local and state laws. The Sheriff's Office is passionate and committed to serving both the human and animal (domestic) residents of WH. We ask that you ensure your pets are confined to their home and leashed or caged when out and about. In the unfortunate event your pet goes missing, call the non-emergency line (801-794-3970).
