Patrick -- Patrick Wiggins NASA Solar System Ambassador to Utah & NE Nevada http://www.trilobyte.net/paw/ paw@trilobyte.net 435.882.1209 Free IMAX "Roving Mars" Sneak Peak One of the many fun things about serving as NASA Solar System Ambassador to Utah (and now NE Nevada too) are the occasional little treats that come my way (things like NASA printed material, videos and DVDs) which I get to share with a few people. But now I've an exciting treat that I can share will a few hundred people. I've arranged for a free sneak peek preview of the new IMAX movie called "Roving Mars". If you have not already seen the preview you can see it here http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/rovingmars . The 45 minute screening will be at the MEGAPLEX 17 at Jordan Commons next Thursday (January 26) starting at 9:00 pm. The theater is located at 35 East 9270 South in Sandy. Officially the screening will be on a first come first served basis but I'm going to do my best to make sure everyone who gets a ticket will get a seat (not the normal practice for most such screenings). Initially tickets will be available only to current members of the various astronomy clubs around Utah. If there are any tickets left by next Tuesday night I'll open it up to all. To request a ticket, please send an email to paw@trilobyte.net. Be sure to state which astronomy club you are a member of and if you will be bringing a guest. I'll then email you a PDF file which you will need to print out and take with you to the theater. Sorry, only one ticket per member, however, each member may bring one guest.
